Poverty, particularly income poverty is one of the most prevalent problem that exposed the various social groups for health, malnutrition, illiteracy and general backwardness. The most highly victimized citizens include children, women and older persons and persons living with the HIV virus. Livelihood component is, therefore, one of the most important program that would address the Socio-economic gaps and priorities of the vulnerable Social groups by making sure of the following major interventions

| • | HIV and AIDS Prevention Care And Support Program |
HIV killed and is still killing the human Kind as a virus that do not have rescue medicine. No human kind is safe from this virus except non-human creatures and the only way for mitigation of this virus is abstainace from unsafe sex. As a response to this predicament, Mary Joy Started its intervention to prevent the spread of HIV and mitigate the impact against children, women, older persons and other vulnerable social groups like the youth. We work in line with the Country's HIV/ AIDS prevention strategies and national HIV/AIDS policy. This program component focuses on the following intervention areas:

In effort to improve the life of the unprivileged members of the community by means of making use of the integrated community development programs, Mary Joy is considering the role of Capacity building as a key program element for the effective & efficient realization of its goals & objectives & for sustainability of the projects in its operational areas. For that reason, the activities that are going to be carried out include the following two parts: 1. Institutional Capacity Building
2. Community Capacity Building: this will be done through the following major aspects
