Resource Mobilization

The organization is mobilizing resource/s for the execution of its strategic program activities stipulated in its strategic planning and management document. Actually the program components include Poverty Reduction, HIV and Aids Prevention and Control, and Community and Institutional Capacity Building.

Mary Joy mobilizes resource to keep going at its current Scale of Operation and to meet the growing needs. Mary Joy requires funding to expand the capacity of the organization to move into new geographical areas, and also to build the capacity of the grass root organizations that Mary Joy works with.

The major Financial Source of funding for the organization used to be and is external donation. The organization also mobilizes resource/s through cost sharing service delivery, [example health Service]. Also the newly initiated child/ family sponsorship program is the other resource mobilization technique even if that is an infant but with good future prospect with the involvement of the private sector, the diasporas and individuals living in the country.

In addition to those mentioned above, endowment fund establishment, widening the membership base, expansion and establishment of income generation Schemes, volunteerism…etc are the future strategies of the organization to diversify its resource base.
